SecureTide™ How Does It Work?

SecureTide™ is AppRiver's fully managed email protection service, eliminating up to 99% of unwanted email before it reaches a user's network. This powerful email virus protection and spam blocker provides small to large organizations a flexible solution for managing email communications. Inbound and Outbound Email Protection

The SecureTide™ filtering system is continually revised 2,000-4,000 times per day to ensure protection from even the newest Spammer tricks and tactics. This system uses four virus-scanning engines, more than 60 filtering tactics and a front-wave protection system that keeps both inbound and outbound email safe from spam, worms, viruses and other potentially harmful materials.

Disaster Recovery

SecureTide™ protects companies from losing important information when the client-side server is down. Whether the problem is caused by Internet connection problems, network failures, routing problems, a natural disaster, power failure, etc., our system will backup emails, encrypting them and putting them in queue until your server is back up.

Implementation

The SecureTide™ email virus protection system can easily be installed in just one day. No hardware or software is required to implement the program, and installation only takes a simple change of MX records within your DNS for every domain which will use the spam filter service.
