AppRiver, LLC, a leading provider of e-mail messaging and Web security solutions, today announced it has been awarded an Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) grant.

The Incumbent Worker Training Program is funded by the Federal Workforce Investment Act and administered by Workforce Florida, Inc. The purpose of the program is to provide grants to employers to assist with certain expenses associated with skills upgrade training for full-time employees of the company. The 12-month grant awarded to AppRiver will help fund customized training courses for more than 115 employees.

The Incumbent Worker Training Program was designed to be flexible in order to meet unique business training objectives. Businesses may use public, private, or their own in-house training facilities. The grant also allows for flexibility and creativity so companies may identify innovative strategies and modern technologies to incorporate into training curriculum.
